River von Rinteln is a very handsome 12 month old German Shepherd. River, as his name suggests, is flowing with beauty, both on the outside with his handsome black-and-silver coat and on the inside with his sweet and loving personality. River is a people magnet. He loves being around his humans, meeting new friends and cuddling up for as much affection as you'll give him. He's still young and energetic and has a few puppy habits, like jumping when he gets excited to say hello or pulling a bit on the leash when he sees something he wants to explore but, the good thing is, he's an awesome listener. River listens well to each correction you give him and makes sure to keep it in mind for next time so, if you're willing to teach him, he's willing to learn. With other dogs, River needs a bit more socializing both on the leash and in our yard during playgroups to learn how to best meet other pups.  As we said, though, he's ready to learn because all he wants to do is make as many friends to play with as possible. River is ready to be your sidekick and your student, and can't wait until that dream becomes reality.
